Capacitybuilders has released details of how it intends to build on its existing investment through the Office of the Third Sector funded Volunteer Management programme.

New right to request time to train
The new right will work by giving employees a legal right to ask to give them time away from their normal duties to undertake training that they believe will improve their performance and that or the business.

A two day conference in January 2010 for anyone working with children or young people with special needs.

Regional Singing Squads
As the regional singing squad sessions proved to be so successful this term, more dates are currently being penciled for the Spring Term. Full details of all the sessions will be posted on the MusicLeader website as soon as possible, and details will also feature in next month's e-bulletin so watch this space!

Percussion and Drumming Leaders Network day - new date confirmed
A new date for the postponed Percussion and Drumming Leaders Network day has now been set, and it will take place on Saturday 6th March. Full details are currently being confirmed so pleae keep your eye on the MusicLeader website and let us know if you would like to attend.
