Rural Practitioners' Forum: Music and Movement

Description MusicLeader Yorkshire Rural Practitioners’ Forums

‘Sign up for as many as possible - worth getting involved!’
‘Enjoyable, fun and a good source of ideas’
‘I can’t wait for the next workshop’

These popular forum events are a fantastic way for those who live and work in the more rural areas of North Yorkshire to meet and learn together. After the sessions’ continued success last year, this year’s programme promises to be more jam packed and exciting than ever!

Each of the Rural Practitioners’ Forum events take place on Tuesday evenings from 5pm – 7pm at the Old Courthouse in Thirsk, and are filled with musical ideas and inspiration from a wide variety of practitioners.

Tuesday 27th April 2010
Music and Movement
Chris Bartram

Chris presents a practical and fun cross artform workshop that introduces simple ways to combine movement and music. He will focus on effective ways to lead people of all ages into this work, as well as sharing a range of exciting activities for devising new work.

We are also delighted to have the support of NYMAZ (the North Yorkshire Youth Music Action Zone) for these sessions.
