This amazing and ground breaking course is for artists of all art forms wanting to develop a practise with Early Year children (0-5) and their families.
Working with the children’s centre team led by Charlotte Arculus – inspirational Early Year specialist, comic performer, musician and artistic director of Theatre of Adventure - artists will embark on a creative, adventurous and informative expedition into the wonderful world of the ‘beautiful little humans’.
These 3 fantastic days will cover.
• A grounding in playfulness and musicality as essential tools for engaging young children and will serve as a basis for developing schemes of work with other art forms.
• A useful overview of current Early Year policy and frameworks.
• Space to develop art skills into schemes of work suitable for EY and Family groups. Schemes
• Entering the world of the beautiful little humans
• The experience of devising, developing and trying out creative ideas with our nursery children.
• Reflection, creative evaluation, support and opportunities for further training.
Visual artists welcome to apply, as are those who do not consider themselves musical.
